February 3, 2021: The Pakistan Science and Engineering Foundation (Paksef) has joined hands with GoRead.Pk, which is a Pakistan based movement of volunteers who dedicate their time to read developmentally and culturally appropriate stories to students in underprivileged schools and communities.
Through this partnership Paksef will extend fiscal sponsorship and support GoRead.Pk by enabling children access to beautiful books, inspiring stories and nurturing spaces to experience them, while fostering a culture of reading and intellectual curiosity amongst the nations youth.
While reflecting on this Partnership, Executive Director and Founder Mr Abdulrahman Rafiq stated, “Pakistan is poised on a precipice where development of human capital is critical to propel the nation towards greater prosperity and enlightenment. Enlightenment of the mind, body, and soul starts by instilling a deep desire for learning amongst the nations youth.”
